Dream A Little Dream of Me

For a few weeks more Dina was able to hide her condition with baggy sweaters and loose pants. But eventually it all came out. When Katrina Caliente found out that her daughter was pregnant she demanded that  Don “Do The Right Thing” and marry her. But by this time Dina crushed had worn off.  She still thought Don was basically a good guy at heart.  She just didn’t want to have to take care of him as well as a child.  She stood up to her mother and told her she was raising the baby alone. She knew that raising a child alone would mean putting her dreams of being a master chef on hold but feeling the life growing inside her she know that this was what was most important now. That is when Nina surprised everyone by saying you’re not alone you have us. Dawson Caliente was born before winter. He was the light of Dina’s life.  He was a sweet little boy with his daddy’s smile.  Don ending up staying around to help out and life settled into a nice routine.  With Katrina and Nina watching Dawson in the days Dina could she pursue her cooking. Maybe she could have both her dreams.  A wonderful family and a successful career.
